New NER Winter League Rules for 2017

Every grade can enter 2 classes on the day, their own grade and an additional class up to two grades below or equal to their current SJ height.

Example:
Open riders can choose from 90cms – 1.10
Advanced Primary can choose from 60cms – 80cms

Running order:

  • 60cms
  • Primary
  • 70cms
  • Advanced Primary
  • 80cms
  • Intermediate
  • 90cms
  • Advanced Intermediate
  • 1m
  • Open

Every rider can enter 2 classes on the day. €15 for one class (regardless of which class they choose) and €27 for two.

The 60cms, 70cms, 80cms, 90cms, 1m – will be run as clear round for each leg of the league, with clear round rosettes only each week. These classes will run from fences 1-12. At the final these rounds will be timed and there will be league prizes for these.

The standard Primary, Advanced Primary, Intermediate, AI and Open classes will be open only to riders of those grades. Prizes will be similar to the current format: prizes 1st-3rd each week and rosettes 1st-6th & end of league prizes.

There will be no Inter A, Novice B or young horse classes – as riders can avail of the new height classes.

AP and Primary riders will jump numbers 1-14, without a break and timed 9-14. They will not be able to wait and watch clock to gauge their times, as this slows up competition too much. This will change regardless of format of league.

Please remember that no one can jump above their grade in the AIRC.
